IM STILL BLACK

A sense of belonging is something I’ve always found myself looking for growing up. As a young black man, I was always told by others what it means to be “BLACK” in our society. This project stems from that feeling of not knowing where I belong in my own culture and also the challenge finding out what it really means to be African-American today. It is a look into the multiple layers of blackness. It is a look at the differences and the similarities. It is a look at how we as a people may view each other differently but we are all still BLACK.
